KINGSTON – Ulster County Executive Michael Hein will deliver his annual state of the county address at the SUNY Ulster campus in Stone Ridge on Thursday evening.
The annual speech will concentrate on the economy, infrastructure and the future, Hein said.
“We in Ulster County are very fortunate,” Hein said. “Financially we have gone from on the brink of bankruptcy six years ago to today being the number one most fiscally sound county in the entire region, according to the New York State Comptroller’s Office.”
He also plans on discussing an agenda for 2015, “an exciting year in front of us.”
Hein said the county is delivering more services than ever before and continues to lower property taxes.
