Red Cross offers disaster training to Orange County citizens for first time

GOSHEN – The Metro-New York North Chapter of the American Red Cross held its first Citizens Preparedness Corps Training Seminar in Orange County on January 8, in Goshen, at the Orange County Emergency Services Center Auditorium at 7 pm.  Attendees included Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus and members of his staff. 
Through a Power Point presentation and audience question and answer session, Metro-New York North Red Cross Presenters offered valuable tips on how to respond to both natural and manmade disasters.
All participants received an official emergency preparedness starter kit.
