Suffern woman indicted for crash that injured two police officers

NEW CITY – A Rockland County Grand Jury indicted Iliana Negron, 22, of 74 E. Maltbie Avenue, Suffern, for vehicular assault and aggravated driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated, both felonies.
On July 12, 2014 Negron was driving on Route 59 in the Village of Airmont when she allegedly crashed into a police vehicle that was parked on the side of the road, causing the police vehicle to hit two police officers, seriously injuring both of them. 
Negron failed various sobriety tests. Her blood alcohol content was .20 percent, two and a half times the legal limit.
