Employee of Kingston business charged with theft

KINGSTON – Police arrested Carmelo Lugo, 56, after a local business suspected an employee was stealing stuff. 
Lugo, of Kingston, was arrested and charged with one count of grand larceny, a felony, and five counts of petit larceny, a misdemeanor.  Lugo was issued an appearance ticket.
The arrest happened on December 18, but police did not release information until yesterday.
