CHESTNUT RIDGE – The driver is in the hospital and a passenger was treated and released, after their car hit a tree about 3:30 Wednesday morning. Ramapo Police say the car was eastbound on Scotland Hill Road when it went through the intersection of Scotland Rd. and Scotland Hill Rd. and struck two trees on the front lawn of a residence.
The driver, Frank Squilla, 20, from Stony Point, sustained numerous injuries and is listed in critical condition at Good Samaritan Hospital. The passenger, Jake Demarsico 19, from Thiells was treated for minor injuries and released.
The investigation is ongoing. No summonses have been issued at this time.
