| Shots fired in Town of Wallkill |

WALLKILL – Town Police in Wallkill are investigating an incident early Sunday morning where someone fired three shots at two people. No one was hurt. Police Chief Robert Hertman said they received a call shortly after 1:30 a.m. that shots were fired in the area of 67 Sheffield Drive. “Officers were met by two individuals who were known to this department and they reported that a dark, possibly navy blue, SUV, with tinted windows and yellow or gold striping, had driven past them. The occupants fired three shots at the two individuals who were on the street,” the chief said. The car then fled. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Wallkill Town Police at 845-692-6757. |
