WARWICK - Town Police Sunday investigated a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred mid-morning.

The crash, which occurred on Orange County Route 1 and Edenville Road in the Town of Warwick, claimed the life of one person. A second person was in serious condition.  Names were not available as of posting time.

Police said a vehicle was turning left onto CR 1 when it crossed in front of the motorcycle resulting in the bike broadsided the car, killing the male driver and seriously injuring the female passenger. She was rushed to Westchester Medical Center.

A reconstruction team from the State Police and the medical examiner's office were called to the scene to investigate.
