Partnership director sees much interest in Sullivan County

MONTICELLO – Interest is high in developing new businesses and enterprises in Sullivan County, according to Peter Gozza, president of the Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development.

Gozza, who has been on the job for some six months, said he wants to establish a countywide redevelopment strategy.

“It will help us understand exactly what our market is so that we’re not chasing investment that we can’t possibly get here because we simply don’t have the workforce or proximity to major markets,” he said.

Having said that, though, Gozza said there is a high degree of interest by site selectors in possible locations for development in Sullivan County.
