Haz-mat incident leads to evacuation at KJ
KIRYAS JOEL - A chemical spill at a building at 49 Forest Road in the Village of Kiryas Joel at mid-day Sunday forced the evacuation of the structure.
The incident was reported as a large chemical spill at around noon time.
Eight people were said to have been removed from the building. A number of ambulances and EMS personnel were called to the scene to treat the victims.
The spill was cleaned up.
