| Three charged in Kingston in drug investigation |

KINGSTON – Police have arrested three men on drug related charges following an investigation initiated by the URGENT task force into cocaine and heroin sales in the Greenkill Avenue and South Pine Street area of the City of Kingston. Police Tuesday afternoon conducted a heroin transaction in that neighborhood and arrested Roy Nugent, 26, of 208 Greenkill. Also involved in the transaction was Randolph “Wayne” Oates, 46, and John Hosford, 43, both of 607 Abeel Street. Police searched that residence and seized over 250 bags of heroin, packaging material and other drug paraphernalia. Nugent and Oates were charged with felony drug charges and Hosford was charged with criminal facilitation in the fourth degree. Several other persons were detained, questioned and released. Other suspects are under investigation and additional arrests are expected. |
