| Westchester man charged with drug, gun possession |

MAMARONECK - Officers from the Westchester County Department of Public Safety Narcotics Unit arrested a Mamaroneck man on drug charges Tuesday and seized quantities of cocaine and Ecstasy, a fully loaded .40 caliber handgun and $6,400 in cash. Pablo Pantoja, 34, of 2 Washington Square was arrested shortly after noon, ending a nearly seven-month undercover investigation that began after county police developed information that Pantoja was selling drugs in the Sound Shore area. Pantoja was charged with six counts each of criminal sale of a controlled substance third degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance third degree, both felonies. He was also charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon third degree. Pantoja was taken into custody outside his home. County police then executed a search warrant for the residence. Recovered from the home and from Pantoja were 29 small packages of cocaine wrapped for individual sale, 10 small packages of crack cocaine packaged for individual sale, 53 Ecstasy pills, a .40-caliber H&K handgun loaded with 13 rounds of ammunition, another 22 rounds of ammunition, packaging materials and a digital scale. |
