Rockland measles count continues to climb

NEW CITY – It seems like every day the Rockland County Health Department announces additional cases of measles uncovered in the county.

On Wednesday, the county said there are 146 confirmed cases in the county with two suspected case under investigation. Most of the cases center on the Monsey and Spring Valley area.

The confirmed cases are the total since the outbreak began in October and are not all active cases.

Persons who have not been vaccinated against the virus are urged to contact their physicians.
