Police working on “multiple leads” in Middletown murder

MIDDLETOWN – Police are pursuing several leads in the murder of Sebastian Avilan-Medina in his 23 Knapp Avenue residence in Middletown.

Avilan-Medina, 26, was found shot to death Monday afternoon.

“We are working on multiple leads, but we have not yet made any arrests,” said Lt. Jeffry Thoelen, bureau commander of operations for Middletown City Police.

State Police and city detectives continue to work the case.
