Judge Finn re-elected to state Board of Regents


ALBANY – The State Legislature re-elected Judge Josephine Finn to the State Board of Regents. She was first named to the board in 2014.

Judge Finn has practiced law for over 30 years serving as assistant county attorney for Sullivan County, assistant town attorney and town attorney for the Town of Thompson.

She is a longtime village judge in Monticello.

Finn served for 18 years as legal counsel to the Sullivan County Branch of the NAACP.

She taught at SUNY Sullivan for 13 years and ran the Paralegal Program for many years. She also served on the college board of trustees prior to her election to the state Board of Regents.
