Armed robbery at Town of Newburgh store

NEWBURGH – Police in the Town of Newburgh are investigating an armed robbery at the Stewart Shops at 407 South Plank Road.

The holdup occurred at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 3.

The suspect is described as a man, about 5’9” to 5’11” with a medium build. He was wearing a black sweater with white stripes on the arms and shoulders, blue jeans and a royal blue over yellow mask.
