McElduff launches judicial campaign

McElduff says experience makes him a "perfect fit"

GOSHEN – Wawayanda Town Judge Timothy McElduff, Jr. has formally launched his campaign seeking the Republican nomination for Orange County Surrogate Court judge.

That post will be vacated next year with the retirement of Judge Robert Onofry.

McElduff said his experience in the field makes him the perfect candidate for the post.

“I have been an attorney for 20 years practicing exactly in that arena," McElduff said. "Surrogate’s Court litigation is one of my specialties and I have been a judge now in my 13th year in Wawayanda and I strongly believe that my skillset, knowledge, experience and temperament make me a perfect fit to be the next Orange County surrogate."

Port Jervis City Judge James Hendry is also seeking the GOP nomination.
