“Neuhaus anticipates participating in future Naval missions

Neuhaus (file): "... I will be back ..."

GOSHEN – Orange County Executive Steven Neuhaus is a member of the Naval Reserves and over the years, has been assigned to overseas missions. During those times, he was in constant contact with his staff, whether it was when he was Chester town supervisor, or currently as county executive.

He made a point of bringing that up during the Orange County Partnership breakfast last week, when he told the several hundred people there that he may be going on future missions but he will be back.

Neuhaus said there are rumors going around about future missions, but he said he wanted to clear the air.

“I’m not leaving,” the exec said. “I might go here or there; I might do some missions, but I will be back and you won’t miss a beat and this county won’t miss a beat. I just want to dispel any rumors on that.”

Neuhaus said he would provide more details as the holiday season nears.
