KINGSTON – The US Department of Health and Human Services, through the Center for Mental Health Services, has announced a $123,000 grant to assist the HealthAlliance Hospital, Mary’s Avenue Campus to increase awareness of mental health in the community by training others on how to identify and appropriately respond to individuals with mental illness.

“HealthAlliance and WMCHealth are deeply committed to providing Kingston area residents with convenient access to quality healthcare services in the communities where they live,” said Westchester Medical Center Health Network President Michael Israel. “As the largest provider of mental health services in the Hudson Valley, providing accessible mental health care and working with our community partners to offer crucial services and education is a priority across the Westchester Medical Center Health Network.”
