STONY POINT – Stony Point Town Police have arrested a local man following an investigation into a burglary near his home on North Liberty Drive in the town last August.

Investigation led police to charge James Rose, 27, of Stony Point with burglary and two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, all as felonies, two counts of criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny, all as misdemeanors. He was sent to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.
