Suspect arrested in murder of Town of Wallkill man


NEW CITY – A man wanted in the murder of a Town of Wallkill resident at used car dealership in West Nyack has been arrested.

Clarkstown Police said Eric Ross, Jr., 24, of Wilmington, Delaware was taken into custody at a residence in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.

Youbens Joseph was shot to death at Youbs Auto Sales last Saturday in what police believed to be a customer-employee dispute.

Ross was apprehended following an investigation by the Clarkstown Police Detective Bureau, Clarkstown Police Street Crimes Unit, US Marshal’s Service, Pennsylvania State Police, New York City Police Department Intelligence Bureau and the Quakertown Police Department.
