Odell wins another term as Putnam County executive

CARMEL – Republican Putnam County Executive MaryEllen Odell defeated Democratic challenger Kent town supervisor Maureen Fleming to win another term in the county’s top job. Odell bested Fleming by some 3,500 votes.

Odell said she wants to continue to grow economic development and tourism in the county.

Democrat Nancy Montgomery and Republican Joseph Castellano won the two contested county legislature seats.
