Dutchess comptroller gives County Soil and Water Conservation District clean bill of health

POUGHKEEPSIE – Dutchess County Comptroller Robin Lois has conducted an audit of the county’s Soil and Water Conservation District and found “minimal and non-material errors or findings."

The audit covered the period of January 1 - December 31, 2017.

Minor bookkeeping discrepancies were found in financial reporting, cash handling and petty cash.

Conservation District Executive Director Brian Scoralick wrote Lois that “The findings and recommendations (of her audit) will be used to improve upon our continued fiscal and management goals.”
