Train kills pedestrian in Kingston

KINGSTON – Kingston City Police and CSX Railroad officials are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a train at about 11:30 a.m. Monday.

Railroad officials said the train, from Ohio to Philadelphia, struck the pedestrian on the tracks at Broadway in Kingston.

The train consisted of two locomotives and 17 loaded rail cars.
