Kingston gunfire leads to arrest

Green

KINGSTON – A Kingston man was arrested on Tuesday after shots were fired near West Pierpont Street in the City of Kingston.

Kevin Green, 33, was taken into custody following investigation by the Uniformed Patrol Division, Detective Division and Special Investigations Unit. Police recovered a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun.

Green was charged with the felonies of reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.

Kingston Police were assisted by the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office, State Police, the URGENT Task Force, Town of Ulster Police and the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office.
