Ramapo Police arrest boyfriend for robbery, assault

RAMAPO – Ramapo police officers responded to South Cole Court in the South Spring Valley section of the Town and found a woman who had been assaulted by her boyfriend. Police say the suspect also took the victim’s pocketbook and cell phone and then fled.

Police later arrested the suspect who was charged with robbery and assault. He was arraigned sent to to the Rockland County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

The police news release did not identify the suspect.
