Yorktown man arrested for DWI after driving wrong way on Taconic


YORKTOWN – A Yorktown man with a prior DWI conviction within 10 years was arrested on a DWI charge on Wednesday for driving the wrong way on the Taconic State Parkway in the Town of Yorktown.

Andrew Kothe, 28, was charged with driving while ability impaired as a felony.

State Police with assistance from Yorktown Police, stopped Kothe as he was driving on the parkway near the walkway bridge.  He was found to be under the influence of alcohol and issued traffic tickets returnable to town court.
