Sex offender charged with indecent exposure


VILLAGE OF GOSHEN –A level one sex offender from Newburgh was arrested by Goshen Village Police on Monday in connection with a case of public lewdness on January 27.

At about 1:20 that afternoon, Jonathan Massey allegedly exposed himself to a woman and two girls under the age of 16 while in a car in the QuickChek convenience store parking lot at 79 Matthews Street in Goshen.

Massey had been arrested by Newburgh City Police on January 21 on a charge of exposure.

On this Monday, February 5, Goshen Police discovered Massey again in the parking lot of the QuickChek where he was apprehended.

Massey was charged with exposure of a person s a violation, and misdemeanors of endangering the welfare of a child, public lewdness and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.  He is in the Orange County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond.
