Teen charged with making threat to Greenville school district

CATSKILL – A 15-year-old Greenville school district resident has been arrested and charged with making a threat regarding school campus safety.

The threat was made on August 3 with the investigation leading to the arrest of the youth without incident. Police did not say if the suspect was a boy or girl.

The person was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Greene County Probation Department.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office said at no time during the investigation were the campus, school staff, or students in any imminent danger.
