WCC budget for new school year in place

WHITE PLAINS – The Westchester Community College budget for 2018-19 remains essentially flat at $165 million, the county Board of Legislators reported following its approval of the fiscal plan this week.

The budget includes $30 million from the county as well as close to $2 million to cover capital projects like technology upgrades.

The college serves 13,000 full- and part-time students and continuing education programs that reach thousands more each semester.

A news release from the legislature did not provide tuition costs and if they increased over last year.
