Partially collapsed Woodridge house razed

WOODRIDGE – A vacant house at 26 Broadway in the Village of Woodridge was razed Thursday after it partially collapsed in the morning.

The collapse was reported just before 8:30 a.m. Following examination by village officials, it was decided to tear it down in the afternoon.

One village employee said the building was “heavily neglected.”

There were no injuries reported.
