Rash of auto break-ins under investigation

WESLEY HILLS – Ramapo Town Police are investigating over 10 car break-ins and one car theft that occurred Thursday night in the Village of Wesley Hills.

In all of the incidents, the suspects gained entry into the vehicles through unlocked doors. The stolen vehicle also had the doors unlocked and the key fob was inside of the vehicle.

The police remind all residents to lock their car doors at all times and don't leave anything in plain view that would entice someone to break into their car.

Anyone with information about the rash of break-ins is asked to call the detective bureau at (845)357-2400.
