MTA cop pleads guilty to assault

WHITE PLAINS – A Metropolitan Transportation Authority police officer was sentenced in White Plains City Court on Thursday to a one year conditional discharge and 50 hours of community service after pleading guilty to misdemeanor assault.

On October 30, 2016, Allan Fong, who was on duty at the time at the White Plains train station, hit a victim in the back of the head with an asp baton. The victim suffered pain to the back of his head and a laceration that required two staples.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Berit Huseby of the Investigations Division of the Westchester DA’s Office.
