Another casino school opens, at Stewart

The Resorts World Casino needs 600 dealers

STEWART AIRPORT – The second of three locations of a free gaming table dealers’ school opened at Stewart International Airport this week.

Two weeks ago, a similar school was opened in the Town of Thompson, not far from the Resorts World Catskills resort which will open in March. A third school will be opening in Ellenville.

Before instruction began on Thursday, casino, airport and Orange County officials held a pep rally noting that the casino will be an economic engine for the entire Hudson Valley/Catskill region in terms of tourism, jobs and business opportunities.

A total of 600 table game dealers will be selected from the students in the three training venues.
