Police ID Poughkeepsie murder victim

POUGHKEEPSIE – City Police in Poughkeepsie have identified the man murdered in an apartment on Monday, but they are not going to make his name public until family members are notified.

The man was founded beaten to death at 48 Marshall Street in Poughkeepsie.

Police arrested two Poughkeepsie city men, David Perry, 49, and Daniel Barletta, 19, who were both charged with murder.

Perry was caught leaving the residence. Barletta escaped through a window and was arrested in New York City later in the day.
