Saugerties man charged with several sexual crimes


CATSKILL – A Saugerties man who is a level two sex offender was arrested by State Police in connection with a number of sexual crimes.

Justin Ross, 22, was taken into custody on Thursday, November 9 on charges of disseminating indecent material to minors, criminal sexual act and rape, all as felonies and misdemeanors of forcible touching and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Ross was arrested following a two-month investigation.

His previous sex offender conviction stemmed from having sexual contact with several minors.

He was sent to Greene County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
