Saugerties man charged with several sexual crimes


CATSKILL – A Saugerties man who is a level two sex offender has been arrested by State Police in connection with a number of sexual crimes.

Justin Ross, 22, was taken into custody on Thursday, November 9 on charges of disseminating indecent material to minors, criminal sexual act and rape, all as felonies and misdemeanors of forcible touching and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Ross was arrested following a two-month investigation.

His previous sex offender conviction stemmed from having sexual contact with several minors.

He was arraigned in Town of Cairo Court and remanded to Greene County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
