Three arrested on drug charges in Crawford

TOWN OF CRAWFORD – Police concluded a month-long investigation into drug sales on Scotchtown Collabar Road in the Town of Crawford with the arrests of three people.

The investigation concluded on Friday, November 10 with a traffic stop on Route 17K and the execution of a search warrant on Scotchtown Collabar Road.

Arrested were Patricia Legnini, 54, of Middletown, Christopher Brucato, 30, of Chester and Kevin Williams, 33, of Crawford.  Legnini and Brucato were each charged with misdemeanor drug possession. Brucato was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Williams, who lives at the address searched, was charged with two counts of felony drug possession and one count of misdemeanor possession.

Officers seized heroin, crack cocaine and powdered cocaine.

Williams was sent to the Orange County Jail without bail. Legnini and Brucato were released to appear in town court.

Town of Crawford Police investigated the case in conjunction with Middletown City Police and the Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force.
