Department of Defense yet to release names of Marine KC-130 plane crash

TOWN OF NEWBURGH – The Defense Department has yet to release the names of the 15 Marines and one Navy sailor killed earlier this week when KC-130 based at the Stewart Air National Guard base, crashed in Mississippi.

Their identities won’t be made public until all families are notified

Nine of the service personnel were assigned to the Marine Corps Reserve unit at Stewart.

Names of many of the victims have surfaced through family and friends and have been reported by national news outlets, including here:

We will publish the names when the Defense Department releases them.
