Five arrested during simultaneous Middletown drug raids

MIDDLETOWN – Police in Middletown executed two simultaneous no-knock search warrants and arrested five people on drug charges.

The raids, just before 3 p.m. on Friday, were the result several community complaints about the sale and trafficking of drugs. Both warrant searches were in apartments at 152 Linden Avenue.  Seized in the raids were 28 bags of crack cocaine, scales, narcotics packaging material and other property.

The five arrested were:

  • Tammy Paterson, 152 Linden Ave., Apt. 1, on a charge of felony criminal nuisance
  • Brandy Paterson, Apt. 1, on two felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance
  • Darryl Lockhart, Apt. 2, on a felony charge of tampering with physical evidence and a misdemeanor drug charge
  • Latoya Mimms, Apt. 2, on a misdemeanor charge of criminal possession of drugs
  • Rosette Chambers, 12 John Street, Middletown, on a misdemeanor charge of drug possession
