No injuries when Rondout Valley school bus rolls over

ACCORD – Officials continue to investigate the cause of a school bus accident in which a small transport bus flipped on its side at the intersection of Kyserike Road and Route 209 in Accord Monday morning.

Rondout Valley School District officials said the accident occurred between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. when a small transport bus carrying two students from Marbletown Elementary School and a monitor flipped on its side.

The final cause of the accident has yet to be determined, officials said.

Students were examined by first responders and determined not to have any injuries, district officials said.   They were transported along with a teaching assistant from the school to Ellenville Regional Hospital for examination and parents were notified of the accident.
