Woman arrested in gunpoint robbery of gas station

NEW WINDSOR – A 41-year-old New Windsor woman has been charged with holding up the Sunoco gas station at 800 Blooming Grove Turnpike in the town late Tuesday night.

The clerk told police a masked woman entered the store, pulled a gun and demanded money before fleeing with an unknown amount of cash.

Officers Joseph Bell and Christopher Deets located the suspect, identified as Jennifer Williams of 18 Guerney Drive in New Windsor on Provost Drive.

She was taken into custody without incident and charged with robbery and tampering with physical evidence as felonies and criminal possession of a weapon as a misdemeanor.

Williams was remanded to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $15,000 bond.
