 Saugerties man arrested for alleged sales of diverted pharmaceuticals

SAUGERTIES – A Saugerties man was arrested by the URGENT Task Force following an investigation into sales of diverted pharmaceuticals in the Village of Saugerties.

Anthony Oquendo, 29, was arrested on August 1 at his village residence where police found additional diverted pharmaceuticals.   He was charged with felonies of criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance as well as misdemeanor possession of drugs and sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail or $60,000 bond.
