Woodbury loses attempt to block KJ pipeline construction

WOODBURY – The Appellate Division of State Supreme Court denied a motion from the Town of Woodbury to enjoin the Village of Kiryas Joel from continuing construction on its water pipeline.

They wanted the project to stop pending a hearing and determination of an appeal of a court judgment issued by Orange County Supreme Court in April.

Without discussion in the appellate decision dated June 24, the justices denied the motion to stop the work.
