Newburgh cops search for wanted man in KJ

NEWBURGH – A man who has been deported from the United States five times and is back illegally, is wanted by Newburgh City Police on a number of charges including criminal contempt, strangulation, assault and burglary.

Police from Newburgh, the State Police, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement as well as the Kiryas Joel Department of Public Safety Thursday searched for Rosendo Perez-Villalobos in that village.

Perez-Villalobos is also wanted for an outstanding warrant for sexual misconduct; he is a sexual offender in New York State.

Police describe him as being five feet, eight inches tall, weighing 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
