Orange County to hold second gun buyback

GOSHEN – Law enforcement officials in Orange County will conduct a second gun buyback program from December 1 through January 31.

As with the last one, guns may be dropped off at the three cities – Middletown, Port Jervis and Newburgh – without any penalties being imposed.

The first buyback program was deemed a success by police and county officials. A large number of handguns and long guns were turned in to police stations.
