WEST NYACK – A man who left his West Nyack home at 8:30 Saturday night to go jogging never returned home and he was found dead early Sunday morning.

Clarkstown Police said the 50-year-old man, whose name they did not make public, told his 39-year-old wife that he was going to jog around the Clarkstown High School South track. She became anxious when he didn’t return home so she called 911 around 1 a.m. Sunday.

Clarkstown Police officers searched the area of the track and found him dead on the side of the course.

The investigation is continuing, but police said at this point there is nothing that points to signs of foul play.
